I've found that the parking garage clear across campus is actually cheaper...so on Monday and Wednesday nights I walk 1/2 mile (roundtrip) instead of just across the street. And I take the stairs to my 3rd-floor class.<br /><br />At work every day, my office is on the 2nd floor, so I have to take the stairs a lot. I try to "run" (loosely used) up the stairs at least once a day...that means I make sure I'm moving my feet faster than the normal trudge.
